Alfredo Gomez

Mr. Alfredo Gomez of Mexia, Texas passed away on September 23, 2025 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 54.  He was born February 24,1971 in Villa De Alvarez, Mexico.  He had been an employee of BWS for 10 years.  

Alfredo's life revolved around family and work. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather.  Being surrounded by his children and especially, his grandchildren brought him more pleasure than anything else in his life.  He loved to work and made every effort to do the best job possible.  Alfredo enjoyed the simple things in life. He was happy riding horses or just sitting on the porch, relaxing.  

He is survived by his Mother Francisca Alvarez Gomez and his children Jose Gomez and wife Sara, Edgar Gomez, Julie Gomez and husband Jeremiah Flores and Nathan Gomez; grandchildren Maddison Killingsworth, Aiden Gomez, Mateo Flores; Siblings Gricelda Gomez Alvarez, Maria Eduwiges Gomez Alvarez, Ramona Gomez Alvarez, and Adriana Gomez Alvarez.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Mexia, Texas with interment to follow at the Mexia Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blair-Stubbs Chapel.
