Anita Hartnett

Anita Hartnett was born December 27, 1939 in Thornton, Texas to Samuel Ray and Georgia Mae (Bates) Hartnett and while living in Dallas, Texas, she went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2025.

She was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School, Class of 1957. She enjoyed being a member of the Oak Cliff Women’s Club, Business and Professional Club, Antique Study Club, and the Lecture Luncheon.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents; and her brother, George Ray Hartnett.

Anita is survived by her niece, Angela Hartnett Alvarez; nephew, Nicholas Ray Hartnett; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Hartnett.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., July 7, 2025 in the Thornton Cemetery in Thornton, Texas.
