Beverly Jean Harral passed away on April 29, 2026 in her home surrounded by her loving family, including her grand dog, Max, at the age of 89. She was born June 9, 1936 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Lloyd and Betty (Blood) Polinski, however, Mexia has been her home for most of her life. Prior to retirement, she worked for many years for Leggett & Platt.
Beverly’s life revolved around her family. She was a proud and loving mother of two daughters, a grandmother of two, and a great grandmother of four. The highlight of her life was having her grands and great grands come for visits. Just like most grandmothers, there was nothing that could compare to the love she felt for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beverly was a hard worker, when she wasn’t on her job, she enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard planting flowers or doing most anything that kept her busy outside. Although in her earlier years she played 42 occasionally, being indoors and playing games never became of any interest to her.
Beverly had an outgoing personality and could strike up a conversation with friends or complete strangers; she just enjoyed being among people.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Betty Polinski; husband, Darral W. Harral; and sister, Joyce Welch.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Susan Martin Wedgman and husband, Harold of Mexia and Deborah Lehrmann Gore and husband, Benny of Mexia; grandchildren, Brandon Wedgman of Rock Hill, SC (formerly of Mexia) and Justin Gore and wife, Andrea of Gatesville, TX (Justin, formerly of Mexia); great grandchildren, Landon and Jase Wedgman of Mexia and Natalie and Colton Gore of Gatesville, TX; brother-in-law, Johnnie Welch of Mexia; nephew, David Welch and daughters, Morgan and Reagan; great nephews and nieces, Noah, Avery, Helena and Jude; and her grand dog, Max (who she dearly loved).
