Billie McDonald Jr.

Billie Gene McDonald Jr. known to family as "Bubba" and many friends as "Scooter," passed away on July 26, 2018 after a long hard fought battle against cancer with his closest family members fighting right along his side. Billie was born June 28, 1949 to Mr. & Mrs. Billie Gene McDonald Sr. in Mexia Texas. He was a native of Shiloh Texas. Billie went to Shiloh School and Mexia High School. He is preceded in death by his father Billie Gene McDonald Sr. of Shiloh Texas, grandparents Cecil & Susie McDonald of Shiloh Texas, grandparents Clyde & Novell Talley of Sherman Texas. He is survived by his mother Zarine McDonald of College Station Texas, his sister Theresa Herin and spouse Scotty of Millican Texas, his brother Terry McDonald Sr. and spouse Pat Nemec of Humble Texas and granddaughter Shiloh Simmons of Houston Texas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 10am at Blair Stubbs Funeral Home with Pastor Aubrey Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Terry Lynn McDonald, Jason Siegert, Cody Waldrop, B. J. Ewell, Wilsie Ewell and Bryer Waldrop will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Bobby McDonald. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 pm., Friday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. He is also survived by his daughters, Leah, Traci and Hollie McDonald.
