Brian Colby Wilson

Brian Colby Wilson passed away at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Waco, Texas on July 2, 2026.  He was born to Bob Wilson and Kathy Brown on March 22, 1974 in Corsicana, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Pauline Keys and Clyde and LaVerne Wilson of Mexia.

After high school, he attended TSTI and studied Turf Management.  Later he attended The Ocean Corporation in Houston earning commercial diving certifications.  Most of his work was done in the Texas Gulf.

He loved taking pictures, reading, and was very artistic.  He also collected baseball cards. After Little League baseball, he played baseball and football in Mexia.

There were special friends and caregivers at the Manor in Mexia.  Among them are Karen Edison, Martha Hernandez, Anita Jones, Tiffany Bluitt, Christina Lopez, Kimberly Noey, Susan Fletcher.  And last but not least, Kim Carroll and Greg "Frog" Roberts.  A lifelong best friend, Adrian Robinson.

Brian is survived by his parents, sister, Amy Brown, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family is having a graveside service at the Frost Cemetery in Frost, Texas on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

One of Brian's favorite Bible verses was John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free".
