Cesar Joel Duarte, Jr.

Cesar Joel Duarté, Jr., 38 of Fairfield, Texas passed away on August 23, 2026. Born on February 7, 1988, in Irving, Texas, Cesar was a hardworking, kindhearted man who never met a stranger. He was known for being able to fix just about anything and for always being willing to help anyone who needed him. A loving husband, devoted father, son, brother, and friend, Cesar’s greatest joy was his family. He also enjoyed fishing and making memories with people he loved.

Cesar is preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Sollenberger. He leaves behind his loving wife Shelby Lea (McGuirt) Duarté; his children Cali Terrio-Korbin, Jaxon Joel Allen Duarté, Ayleah Grace Duarté, Everlee Hope Duarté; his grandchild Walker Tray-Reid Terrio; his parents Cesar Joel Duarté, Sr. and Sharon Irene (Sollenberger) Duarte; siblings, Irma Yanet Arely Gelling; Rolando Cesario Duarté, Javier Arturo Duarté, Ashley Nichole Heard and Brittany Michelle Heard, extended family, and many cherished friends.

Cesar will be remembered for his generous heart, infectious personality, and the way he made everyone around him feel like family. Though his life was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Round Prairie Baptist Church in Fairfield, Texas with Pastor Chris George officiating.
