Charles Alfred "Chuck" Howard, Jr., passed away on August 22, 2019 in Mexia at the age of 56. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 26, 2019 at Forest Glade Cemetery with Brother David Snow officiating. Travis McAlister, David Roberts, Tristan Lee, Howard Medlock Sr., Tom Parker, Eppie Ochoa will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Elmer Howell and P.K. Reiter.
Chuck was born on February 25, 1963 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Charles Alfred Howard, Sr. and Andree Louise Julliott Howard. He graduated from Mexia High School in 1981 and Texas State Technical College with a certification in Hydraulics. He had worked in the oil field as a driller and more recently helped numerous people with his handyman and mechanical skills.
Chuck received the most enjoyment from life when he was riding his motorcycle, spending time with his grandchildren, and making knives. His pets always brought a smile to his face, especially his pet parrot, Luweeze.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles is survived by his two daughters, Teresa Heard and husband, Ray Marsh Jr. of Groesbeck and Tammara Heard of Killeen; sisters, Pat Howard and Nancy Lee and husband, Jonathan all of Mexia; grandchildren, Kristin Marsh, Kaitlynn Marsh, Jacob Marsh, and Daniel Cano; numerous nieces and nephews.
