Daniel Stone

Daniel Wayne Stone, 33 of Donie passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006 in Gregg County, Texas. Daniel was born March 16, 1973 in Tyler. He was a flatbed truck driver for PGT Trucking and was a Baptist. Daniel was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Aubry and Mildred Lumpkin and Alfred Stone. He is survived by his daughters, Shelbi Jade Stone of Mexia and Alisha Carol Stone of Jewett, his parents, Linda and Don Morton of Donie and Wayne and Marianne Stone of Lufkin, Grandmother, Maebell Stone of New London, Brothers, Steven Morton and wife Becky of Groesbeck, Gary Don Morton of Dallas, Sister, Georgia Morton Shelby and husband Don of Emory. He is further survived by his aunts, Jami and husband Brent Alexander of Livingston, Shirley Cain of New London. Cousins, Aaron Cain and Robin Cain of New London and Aubri Alexander of Livingston. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Blair-Stubbs funeral home chapel in Mexia with Brother B.A. Carlin and Brother Ed Messersmith officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaks cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Pallbearers will be Doyle Coslin, Richard Bowman, Jeff Locke, Steve Morton, Brent Alexander and Mick Atchley.
