Dorothy Genelle Fisher

Dorothy Genelle Fisher, of Palmer, Texas, passed away on June 13, 2025 in Mexia, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born October 1, 1937 in Waxahachie, Texas to James H. and Ethel (Cook) Davis.

Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her first and most important job of taking care of her family, she and her husband, Arvin, owned and operated Bristol Automotive where she was the office manager and bookkeeper for 30 years.

Dorothy had an outgoing personality, enjoyed interacting with people, and treated everyone with respect. She also loved to sew, read, and work puzzles whenever time allowed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Davis; her husband, Arvin Lee Fisher; two sons, Kerry Fisher and Kevin “Bubba” Fisher; and brother, Ray Davis.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Perez; grandchildren, Courtney Vela and Jason Perez; and brother, Neal Davis.

There will be no public service.
