Dorothy Marie Duncan

Dorothy Marie (Vinson) Duncan of Tehuacana, Texas passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on January 24, 1939, in Tehuacana, Texas to Vernon Oswald and Emma Ruth (Palmour) Vinson, both of Mexia.

Dorothy loved the outdoors spending time in her garden and picking up pecans. She enjoyed oil painting as well.

She was employed by the First National Bank of Mexia, now known as Incommons Bank, where she worked for over fifty years and had many customers that she adored.

Dorothy loved her family and friends and especially enjoyed spending time with them.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Janet Duncan and her niece Becky (Duncan) Blalock. She is survived by her brother in-law Frank Duncan, nephew Sam Ray and niece Sherrie (Duncan) Price, and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in celebration of Dorothy’s life on January 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home, Mexia, Texas.
