Edgar Seay

Edgar William Seay, 100, of Irving passed away July 20, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Cobb Cemetery in Thornton, Texas. Rev. Curtis Morton will officiate. Edgar was born November 15, 1909 in Vandervoot, Arkansas to Edgar and Lula (Brown) Seay. He was an aviation mechanic. He had his aviation mechanic license for 50 years. Edgar received the Charlie Taylor Mechanic Award. In 1945, he opened Model Aircraft Labs and in 1948 opened M.A.L. Hobby Shop in Irving, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Mildred Taylor Seay. Edgar is survived by his son, Edgar Seay of Irving.
