Frances Miller

Frances Miller 80 years old of Dickinson, Texas completed her service on earth as a devout Christian on September 8, 2015 and has now taken her place with the Lord. The loving wife of Allen Miller for 61 years passed peacefully from this life surrounded by her family at home. Frances was born August 12, 1935 in Jewett, TX and was a long-time resident of Limestone County. She graduated from Mexia High School in 1953. She married the love of her life, Allen Miller of Teague, TX on May 22, 1954 and had three wonderful children. She was a member of the Eastern Star. This family has been very blessed with the most giving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother the world has ever known. Her greatest gift has always been her caring nature for her family and friends. She loved to travel with Allen and shared many priceless adventures around the world with him. She will be greatly missed and we know she will be waiting to welcome us all with open arms into her new home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hester and Ennis Holmes; and her brothers, Tommy and Larry Holmes of Coolidge, TX. Survivors include her husband Allen Miller of Dickinson, TX, her son Tommy Miller of Mexia, TX, daughters, Diana McCormick and husband, Scott of La Porte, TX and Elaine Wyatt and husband, Jeff of Dickinson, TX; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Johnny Holmes and wife, Charlotte of Spring, TX, Ennis Holmes of Mexia, TX, sister- in- laws, Cynthia Holmes of Coolidge, TX, Laura Holmes Tuscana of Sargent, TX; and many more extended family members that held a special place in her heart. Memorial services will be 2pm, Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Blair Stubbs Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to Hospice or the charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Amed Community Hospice Care for their care and support in her final days.
