Fred Waldon Williams, Jr.

Mr. Fred Waldon Williams, Jr., passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 84 in Denton, Texas. He was born in Coolidge, Texas to Fred and Maggie Wren (Duggin) Williams on December 19, 1940.

He resided for most of his life at the Mexia State Supported Living Center and then was transferred to the Denton State Supported Living Center in the past few years. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Country and Western, religious programs, interacting with the care staff, throwing balls and smiling.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his brother Gene Williams of Waco, Texas.

A graveside service is planned for Monday, December 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Mexia City Cemetery, Mexia, Texas with Chaplain James Robertson officiating.
