Georgia Bounds

Georgia Lee Bounds, 90, of Teague, passed away October 8, 2014 in Fairfield. Georgia was born November 4, 1923 in Manila, Arkansas to Richard and Jennie Weatherford. She was a Registered Nurse and worked many years in home healthcare. She was a loving wife and mother who spent her life not only taking care of her family, but many others. Georgia was a hard worker; she raised four children and attended nursing school. She didn't have time for hobbies but she enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Bounds; brother, Jack Weatherford; and sisters, Maxine Anderson and Bernie Weatherford. Georgia is survived by her children, Pat Black of Teague, Jimmie Sue Scott of Manville, Richard Bounds of Teague and Mary Ann Kofnovce; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
