She was a beautician for over 35 years, a job she not only enjoyed, but an opportunity to make many friends. She also owned her own shop, Helen's Beauty Shop, for many years, prior to retirement. Helen married her loving husband, Donald Stonecipher on June 1, 1953 in San Angelo, Texas and they were blessed with three children, Perry, Sheila and Sheri. Her first priority in life was taking care of her family and being involved in the life of her children and grandchildren. Nothing made Helen happier than having all her family at home, especially, during the holidays. Helen also enjoyed painting, country music and really loved watching birds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stonecipher; son, Perry Stonecipher; and grandson, Ricky Allen. Helen is survived by her daughters, Sheila Black of Teague and Sheri Peterson and husband, Kenneth of Jewett; grandchildren, Clyde Allen, Jr., Joel Black, Martin Black, April Peterson and Amanda Peterson; sisters, Lorene Hagemann of Upper Lake, CA, Ruby McCarley of Amarillo, TX, Hazel Maggard of Cheyenne, OK, Vera Holley of Cheyenne, Ok and Chris Fleshman of Medford,OK; brother, Elmer Crandall of Higgins, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
