Graveside services for Herman D. Hinchliffe, 95, of Pt. Enterprise will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Pt. Enterprise Cemetery. Rev. Bruce Rudd will officiate with interment following in Pt. Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5 - 7 p.m. Saturday night at Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Mr. Hinchliffe was born July 3, 1911 in Limestone County to Charles Edward and Jesse Lee McGee Hinchliffe and passed away at Limestone Medical Center on October 5, 2006. He was employed for 30 years as office manager for Limestone County Road and Bridge Dept. and was a member of Pt. Enterprise Baptist Church. Survivors are his son, Bill Hinchliffe of Mexia; daughter, LaNette Carl of Florida; grandchildren: Charles H. Hinchliffe of Waco, Bridgett Rendon and husband, Eric of Troy, Mike Carl of Tavares, Florida, Kim Allman and husband, Steve of Tavares, FL and Darryl Rendon of Ocalla, FL; great grandchildren: Erica Rendon, Kody Rendon, Kayli Foster, Kristin Foster, and Nicole Allman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy in 1999 and by two brothers. Memorials may be made to Pt. Enterprise Baptist Church Youth Building fund. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Allman, Eric Kendon, Charles Hinchliffe, Mike Carl, Darryl Carl and Donnie Hinchliffe. .
