Hunter Neason

Hunter Caige Neason, 12, of Thornton passed away October 4, 2011 in Talihina, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2PM, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Central Baptist Church in Thornton with Rev. Tracy Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the Thornton Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Thornton. Hunter was born August 13, 1999 in Waco, Texas to Joe Wayne Neason, Jr. and Robin Dell Emmert Neason. Hunter was a 6th grade student at Enge-Washington Intermediate School in Groesbeck. He took advantage of every opportunity to go hunting and fishing with his Dad. Hunter will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Hunter, joined by his mother, Robin Neason left this world together to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jean Neason. Hunter is survived by his father, Joe W. Neason, Jr. of Thornton; brother, Frank Dillon Barron; grandfathers, Joe W. Neason, Sr. of Thornton and Bobby Frank Emmert of Talihina, Ok.; grandmother, Marcie Emmert Merritt of Hubbard; aunt, Lisa Rittenbaugh and husband, Joe of Mt. Calm; uncle, Warren Neason of Thornton; and a number of cousins and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Justin Barron, Jud Hughes, Troy Waddle, Phillip Kramer, Randy Franklin and Travis Towers. A fund has been established for Hunter and Robin Neason at the Farmers State Bank.
