Janis Frost

Janis Frost went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 12, 2025, just three days prior to her 96th birthday; she was surrounded by her loving family at her home in Mexia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Roy and Effie Manning; and husbands, D. P. Frost and Jay Andrews; granddaughter, Amy Hooks; son-in-law, Doug Hooks; six siblings.

She is survived by daughters, Dianne Hooks and Melanie Holloway and husband, Jon; son, Marcus Frost and wife, Molly; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous other family members.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2025 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Robin Wright officiating. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery.
