Jennifer was born on January 1, 1947, in Teague, Texas, to John Fred Nichols and Mary Ellen Nichols. She was the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Deer Park High School before earning her Associate’s Degree from San Jacinto College.
Jennifer met the love of her life, Bobby Parson, on a blind date, and it truly was love at first sight. Jennifer loved Bobby with all her heart, and the two were inseparable, spending their lives devoted to one another and their family. Their love was deep and unwavering, and the only time they were ever apart was when Bobby had to work. They married and built a beautiful life together, raising their three daughters. Jennifer devoted herself to her family, choosing to stay home and care for her girls. Her world centered around her husband and daughters, and she never missed an opportunity to support, encourage, and love them in everything they pursued. She was the heart of the family, our rock, and the kind of mother every child hopes to have.
Jennifer never met a stranger. Her warm smile, kind heart, and welcoming spirit made everyone feel like family. She passed those qualities on to her daughters, leaving a legacy of compassion, generosity, and unconditional love.
She loved sports, cherished animals, and found joy in many things throughout her life, but nothing compared to the love she had for her family. She especially loved to cook, and her meals were something everyone looked forward to, bringing family and friends together for countless gatherings and special occasions. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with those she loved most. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love and influence will continue for generations.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, John Fred Nichols and Mary Ellen Nichols; her sisters, Shirley Nichols, Mary Clark, Linda Huffman, and Jean Tisdale; and her brother, John Nichols.
Jennifer is lovingly survived by her devoted husband of many years, Bobby Parson; her sister, Sue Nichols of Teague, Texas; and her three daughters: Tammy Montgomery and her husband, Mike, of whom are the proud parents of Hunter Montgomery and Ashley Montgomery; Linda Cheeney and her husband, Warren, who are the proud parents of Chance Cheeney and Chase Cheeney; and Jenny Vincent and her husband, Richard, who are the proud parents of Jacob Vincent.
She was also blessed with four cherished great-grandchildren: Kyson, Cody, Savannah, and Adalyn, all of whom brought her immense joy and were deeply loved.
Jennifer also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and love.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing Jennifer’s love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain with us always. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and unconditional love that will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
