Joe Hernandez, 87, passed away August 15, 2015 at his home in Wortham. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in the Wortham Cemetery. Joe was born in Dallas, Texas on April 11, 1928. He was a retired field operator of Dallas Power & Light Company. He had resided in the Wortham/Mexia area for a number of years. He is survived by his longtime companion, Aithlean Contu of Wortham; and a number of friends.
