Judy was born September 30, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Conner and Bonnie Dean (Parish) Woodall. She has been a resident of Mexia since 1978. Her working career, in addition to being a mother, consisted of 10 years of clerical work and 25 years of nursing. She worked for Mexia Hospital, Groesbeck Hospital and Clinic, Mexia State School and Windsor Nursing Home in Groesbeck.

Judy’s life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She felt her most treasured accomplishments and memories were caring for her family and being a nurse. Judy’s advice for life lessons was to “love life itself, never give up, keep your faith with God, and keep a good sense of humor”. She was a hard worker and no matter what happened in life, she always kept the faith.

Whenever Judy wasn’t spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, diamond art, and jigsaw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bonnie Woodall; son, Marty Howard.

Judy is survived by her children, Tara Howard of Seargent. AK, Tegan Mason of Terrell, TX, Jordan Howard and wife, Sheleshia and her mother, Barbara of Mexia; son-in-law, Zave Sheleshia; grandchildren, Ryan Webb, Kaylee Anderson, Shelby Mooney, Kaden Moran, Christopher Howard, Audrey Leigh Howard; great granddaughter, Cassidy Anderson; and cousin, Lisa Smith.
