Julie Laine Johnson

Julie Laine Johnson, formerly of Midland, passed away on December 27, 2021 in Mexia at the age of 60. Graveside services were held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 31, 2021 at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas.

Julie was born March 27, 1961 in San Angelo, Texas to Roy Rhoads and Joyce LaRue (Stout) Johnson. She grew up in the Midland/Odessa area. She worked in several construction positions and, later, for Qualified Printers as a delivery driver.

Julie moved to Mexia, in 2019, to be near family. Although Julie had no children, she loved her dogs as if they were her children; Buddy was most special to her. They were her best friends and always her constant companions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Joyce Johnson; and brother, Randy Johnson.

Julie is survived by her sister, Janise Shivers and husband, Terry Don of Mexia; nephews. Christopher Shivers and wife, JoAnna Shivers of Mexia and Daniel Johnson of OK; niece, Emily Johnson of OK; and great nephew, Kaison Shivers of TN.
