Karon Watts

Karon Watts, of Thornton, passed away December 14, 2025 in Waco, Texas at the age of 76. She, along with twin sister, Sharon, were born on December 8, 1949 in Beaumont, Texas to Floyd Lanier and Vicky (Debuno) Martin.

Karon’s life revolved around her family. She was a loving wife and mother who devoted her life to caring for and trying to see that everyone’s needs were met. Karon enjoyed spending time at home, keeping the house clean and cooking for her family. She was an excellent cook; she especially enjoyed baking, and there were never any complaints or any of them that were “tossed out”! Karon also liked to have family and friends over for occasional barbeque cookouts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Lanier; mother, Vicky Martin; and siblings, Bud Lanier and Vicki Dodd.

Karon is survived by her loving husband, Billy Watts; son, Gino Giambra; sisters, Donna Spillman and (twin) Sharon King; and brother-in-law, David Watts and his family.

The family will have a private memorial service.
