Linda Taylor

Mrs. Linda Lou Rasco Cooper Taylor passed away at home, surrounded by her family, early Thursday morning, April 23, 2020.  Linda was born August 23, 1942 in Thornton, Texas to Rawls and Mildred Briggs Rasco.  She grew up and graduated High School in Thornton, where she remained and later raised her family.

Besides being a loving selfless mother, she also worked at various places as a clerk, which fit her personally as she loved to talk and visit with people, always greeting everyone with a smile - she brightened her customers day.  A clean house was very important, and she worked tirelessly keeping it that way.  Family was always on the top of her list, loving her kids, grandkids and her extended family and friends.  She was a longtime member of the Central Baptist Church in Thornton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rawls and Mildred Rasco; husbands, Douglas L. Cooper and Bobby Wayne Taylor; and sister, Betty Rasco Davis.

Linda is survived by her six children, Sherrye Cooper Iannazzo, Sammy Neil Cooper, Becky Cooper Gorgas, Gary Wayne Cooper, Tami Cooper Hart and Terry Don Cooper; grandchildren, Thomas W., Andrea and Will Iannazzo, Lauren Sabotik, Lance Roberts, Steven Lambright, Katy Cooper, Colton, Carlee and Cody Cooper, Douglas and Ila Cooper; 24 great grandchildren; and brother, Billy Jack Rasco.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Central Baptist Church in Thornton.
