Lonnie Mae Robinson went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 13, 2018. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Cotton, Jr. and Terry Cotton officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilson Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Cotton, Jr., Terry Cotton, Stephen Brown, Ronny Crawford, Todd Slaughter, Cody Cotton, Grit Langford, Arwin Langford and Ronnie Ferguson.

Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.

Born September 23, 1928, Lonnie was the ninth child of Henry and Etta Reynolds Wilburn. She grew and remained in Limestone County for most of her life. She married her husband of 51 years, Loyd Delton Robinson, Sr. on May 16, 1946, after the war. Lonnie's love for her family, friends and community was evident to all. During her lifetime, she faced many hard times, including the Great Depression and World War II. Lonnie also knew the heartaches of loss with the death of loved ones, including her husband and five children. Through all these difficulties, Lonnie's faith in God remained steadfast

Lonnie was preceded in death by her husband; five children, James Delton Robinson, Janice Elaine Bozeman, Jerry Wayne Robinson, Carolyn Sue Cotton and Loyd Delton "Dell" Robinson, Jr.; her parents and eight siblings, Ira C. Wilburn, Gladys Bogue Wilburn, Jesse Pete Wilburn, Jewel Wilburn, Grace Wilburn, Bruce Wilburn, Maurice Mike Wilburn and Nellie Louise Maxwell.

Lonnie is survived by her sister, Altharee Langford and husband, Howard of Lost Prairie; seven grandchildren, Jimmy Cotton, Jr and wife, Brandi of Steward Mills, Stefani Slaughter and husband, Todd of Mexia, Terry Cotton and wife, Shawna of Dew, Sherry Crawford and husband, Ronny of LaRue, Beth Robinson of Mexia, Kayce Brown and husband, Stephen of Spring and Kaitlyn Walters of Tennessee; sons-in-law, Otis Bozeman of Mexia and Jimmy Cotton, Sr. and wife, Karen of Robinson; daughters-in-law, Helen Shields and husband, Jerry Don of Old Union and Renee Walters and husband, Bobby of Centerville; 10 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends

Lonnie's family wishes to give special acknowledgment and thanks to the staff of Fairfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Virginia's Hospice for their loving care of Mamaw.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Wilson Chapel Cemetery, %Lorri Sanchez, 1535 Camp Lone Star Rd., LaGrange, TX 78945.
