Mabel Faye Todd Beene, 69, passed away February 11, 2016 at her home in Cleburne, Texas. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. James Hooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Faye was born in Hubbard, Texas on December 10, 1946 to Ernest Todd and Vivian McDonald Todd Holman. She was a graduate of Coolidge High School Class of 1965. She married her lifelong partner of 50 years, Bobby Beene, on December 18, 1965 in Coolidge, Texas. Faye was happiest when she was surrounded by her family, they were her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was so excited and anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild. Her favorite pastime was spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed painting (was an excellent artist), scrapbooking and excelled in cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Maxine Copley; and brothers, William "Bill" Todd and Ernest "Bud" Todd. Faye is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Beene of Cleburne; daughters, Kimberly Henderson and husband, Bill of Poteet and Karen Milam and husband, Jason of Cleburne; grandchildren, Sarah Bullard of Mexia, Tyler Bullard and wife, Melanie of Cleburne and Lindsey LoDico of Stephenville; one soon-to-be great-grandchild; sisters, Elaine Williams of Mart and Nelda Foster of Victoria; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers will be John Hadley, Clay Hadley, Cole Hadley, Barry Choate, Hunter Choate, Stephen Beene and Scott Beene. Honorary pallbearers will be Brice Beene and Braden Beene.
