Margaret Stewart

Mrs. Margaret M. Stewart, 90, of Mexia passed away January 13, 2009. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Virginia. Mrs. Stewart was born April 11, 1918 to Willard P. and Sarah Savage McBain in Norfolk, Virginia. She moved to Mexia in June from Stephens City, Virginia. Mrs. Stewart was employed as a building contractor for many years. She was a very devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Preston Mathews and William Wall Stewart. She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Faulk and husband, Roy of Mexia and Geri Campbell and husband, Bill of Atlanta, Georgia; 5 grandchildren, including Lee Stewart of Mexia; 11 great-grandchildren.
