Mary Madeline Myers

Mary Madeline Myers passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on June 14, 1943, in Dallas to Frances Maude and Winfield Scott Klein Jr. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1961. A memorial service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (Plano) on August 13, 2026, at 11am. A private interment will be held on a future date at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas.

Madeline worked in the Mexia school system as a substitute teacher and later served as the president of the PTA. When her sons reached high school, she worked for Edward Jones financial firm in Mexia. In 1998, she moved to Plano to be closer to her sons and continued to work for Edward Jones for 25 years. She worked in offices in both Plano and McKinney. She truly enjoyed her work and although she held her securities license, her favorite part was working directly with clients. Upon retiring from Edward Jones, she obtained her realtor’s license with Coldwell Banker Realty in Plano.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was a constant source of love, wisdom, encouragement, and strength. She had a true servant’s heart, putting the needs of others before her own and offering kindness, compassion, and generosity without hesitation. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and will always be in our hearts.

Madeline was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Lee Myers; brothers Richard Klein and Scott Klein III; and sister, Kathleen Klein.

She is survived by her son Greg Myers of Plano; her grandchildren Jacob Myers of Richardson, Justin Myers of Richardson, and Allee Myers of Little Elm; and her sister-in-law Diana Klein of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or their favorite charity.
