Mary Carter (Kennedy) Slaughter,84, passed away at her home in Houston, Texas on August 7, 2026. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026 in Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Thornton, Texas. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Thornton Cemetery.
Mary is survived by her children, David Alan Slaughter, I, DeAndrea Lynnette Grayson and husband, Kenneth, and DeShanna Annette Kirkland; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
