Nina Sue was born October 27, 1966 in Mexia, Texas to William Doyle “W.D.” and Ruby Dell (McCeig) Kindon. She received her LVN degree from MCC and worked in several nursing homes and other entities for 30 years. Nina always enjoyed and was very devoted to her job as a nurse; she loved caring for others. Prior to her illness, she was employed by Creative Solutions.
Nina married her loving husband, David Ray Watts on January 18, 1995. Nina’s love for God and family were first and foremost in her life. Although her love for her husband and children was strong, it couldn’t compare to the love she had for her grandchildren, they truly owned her heart.
Nina was a member of the Living Water church in Groesbeck where she enjoyed participating in activities with other members of her church family. Whenever she had the opportunity, she loved to quilt, play dominoes and spades, do puzzles on her phone, and enjoyed planting flowers and other plants.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.D. and Ruby Kindon; and siblings, Bill Kindon, Thressa Harris, and John Kindon.
Nina is survived by her husband David Ray Watts; children, Michael David Watts of Waco, Amanda Alene Pyle and husband George Bradly of Jewett, and Scott Wayne Watts, Sr. and wife Stephanie Michelle of Dew; grandchildren, Piper Marie Pyle, Dana Lynn Pyle, Kaylee Ann Pyle, Nina Sage Pyle, Mieke Marie Hancock, Eleanor Elizabeth Hancock, Alyssa Ruth Joy Salmons, Isabella Nicole Watts, Ruby Michelle Watts, and Scott Wayne Watts, Jr.; sister, Judy Seaton of Murchison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
