Orville Ray "Bubba"Timberlake, 62, of Belton, passed away April 29, 2015. A family visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2015, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow, immediately after visitation, in the Mexia Cemetery with Pastor Paul Gauntt officiating. Bubba was born December 18, 1952 in Mexia, Texas to Orville "Red" and Rosie Kuyava Timberlake. He grew up in Mexia and was a 1971 graduate of Mexia High School. He went to work with his Dad at Timberlake's Body Shop, and after he retired, continued to own and operate it, completing 27 years in the business. Bubba was presently employed with Texas Parks and Wildlife and had been for 16 years. Bubba married the love of his life, Teresa Gale Gauntt, on March 15, 1975; they just celebrated 40 years together. They were blessed with two children, Sara and Stuart Wade. He was devoted to his family; a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He especially enjoyed spoiling his granddaughter. Bubba was rather quiet, always had a smile and made friends easily. He loved staying busy, if he wasn't working on the job, he was working around the house. He enjoyed music, dancing and playing 42. He was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville "Red" and Rosie Timberlake. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Timberlake of Belton; children, Sara Timberlake-Trevino and Stuart Wade Timberlake of Belton; granddaughter, Gabriella Trevino; sisters, Sharon Wilson and husband, Johnny of Groesbeck and Rona Stanford and husband, Robert of Ft. Worth; and a number of nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Bubba's nephews: Brad Gauntt, Zach Gauntt, Brian Stanford, Chris Gauntt, Walt Wilson, Clint Wilson, Charlie Traywick and Bob Gauntt.
