Patricia Ann Watts, of Thornton, entered her heavenly home on November 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Funeral services will 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2025 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Thornton with Brother Walter Pickens and Brother George Ibarra. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery near Jewett, Texas. Amanda Pyle, Michael Watts, Scott Watts, J. D. Watts, Taylor Watts, Sam Puckett, Gino Giambra, and Jonathan Watts will serve as pallbearers.
Patricia was born on January 9, 1942 in Marshall, Texas to Robert Wallace and Elizabeth Ann (Lee) Watson. In addition to her most important job of being a loving wife and mother, she was a manager for the 7-ll Convenience Stores for many years.
Patricia love for God, family, and friends was exemplified by the way she lived her life. She lived by the Golden Rule by treating everyone with love and respect. Patricia’s heart and home was always open to any and everyone. Although she loved her children, like most grandmothers, the love for her grandchildren was even greater.
Crocheting was Patricia’s favorite pastime, among the many articles that she made, her pride and joy were the blankets she crocheted for every grandchild. She also enjoyed cooking. She was an excellent cook, making all types of breads were especially remembered by her family as what she seemed to enjoy the most, however, they loved it all!
Patricia was a member of the Living Water Church in Groesbeck. Patricia was well loved by all and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Watson; husband, James David Watts; son, James Ben Watts; brother, Robert Wallace Watson; and daughter-in-law, Nina Sue Watts.
Patricia is survived by her sons, Robert Wayne Watts, Sr., James Benjamin Watts, II, David Watts, and Billy Watts and wife, Karon; grandchildren, Michael David Watts, Amanda Alene Pyle and husband, George Bradley, Scott Wayne Watts, Sr. and wife, Stephanie Michelle, Robert Wayne Watts, Jr., Jonathan Watts, J. D. Watts, II, Ronald Ray Watts, Donald Ray Watts, Christina Michelle Watts, and Gino Giambra; numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
