Paul David Garvin

Mr. Paul David Garvin passed away in Waco, Texas at the age of 75 on August 24, 2025. He was born in Childress, Texas to David C. and Anna Lea (Newman) on August 3, 1950.

Paul went on to graduate from Childress High School in 1968. He moved to Mexia in 1980 and met his wife Margaret and they married in 1984, recently celebrating 40 years together. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, and he belonged to the local Men’s Auxiliary VFW in Mexia, Texas. Paul worked over 40 years as an Instrument Fitter for various companies. He was a good guy and enjoyed staying at home with his wife.

He is survived by his wife Margaret (Minchew) Garvin, two sisters Phyllis Cross and Pam White (Ronnie); Sister-In-law Gwen Minchew, Brother-In-Laws Steven Minchew (Theresa) and Raymond Minchew, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
