Richard Harris

Richard Lee Harris passed away at his home in Thornton, Texas, January 7, 2018, at the age of 54. Graveside services will be 10 AM, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Thornton Cemetery with Chaplain Karen Hulsey officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:30-5:30 PM, Wednesday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Richard was born February 28, 1963 to Audrey Fay Fullen. He was a graduate of Leon High School. While attending high school, he was a proud member of the Cougar football team. Richard had an outgoing personality, very social and had absolutely no problem making friends. Richard worked for Centex ARC in Mexia and HOT Industries in Waco. He later moved to Thornton, where he happily made his home for the last 14 years. A special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Willis for providing a home for him these last 14 years.
