Rose Marie Conner

Rose Marie Garret Ragan Conner, of Spring Branch, Texas, entered her heavenly home on July 20, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born on August 20, 1934, in Groesbeck, Texas to David Edward and Helen Louise Garret.

She was preceded in death by a sister and 4 brothers, husbands, Curtis Edward Ragan and OD Conner, and stepson, Butch Conner.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Sandifer and Betsy Johnson; sons, Robert (Bob) Ragan and Bernard Paul Ragan; and stepchildren, Gail Cisneros, Cissy Smith, and Neil Conner. Also, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She raised 4 children: Sylvia, Betsy, Robert (Bob), and Paul.

Rose was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and was a faithful servant teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

The family of Rose Marie Garret Ragan Conner would like to convey their deepest appreciation for all the acts of love and kindness shown to them during this difficult time. Your expressions of sympathy will always be remembered.

Visitation with the family will be prior to the service from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2025. A graveside service will be immediately following in the Mexia Cemetery with David “DJ” Johnson officiating.
