Ruby Williams

Funeral services for Ruby Williams, 95 of Pt. Enterprise will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 in Blair - Stubbs Chapel. Interment will follow in Pt. Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams was born on July 3, 1911 in Gilmer, Texas to Elbridge and Lucy Johnson Holt and passed away in Parkview Hospital on October 8, 2006. She Was a homemaker and seamstress and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are her son: Jimmie Joe Williams of Woodville, Texas; two daughters, Juanita Douglas of Mexia and Maxine LaDean Jones of Channelview; grand- Children: Sarah Costa, Joe Ben Williams, David Williams, Paul Williams, Rebecca Starr, Ruth Williams, Darrel Jones, Pam Jones, David Douglas and John Michael Douglas, 24 great grandchildren: 10 great great grandchildren: brothers, Amos Holt and Edward Holt of Pt. Enterprise, and sisters, Lou Calame and Cora Lee Holt, both of Arlington. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clifton D. Williams in 1996, brother, Robert Holt, two sisters, Elizabeth Hawkins and Marguerite Kerzee and by her son-in-law, Robert Jones in 2005.
