Stephanie Murphey

Stephanie Kay Hearon Murphey, 43, passed away July 30, 2015 at her home in Mexia. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. Stephanie was born in Mexia, Texas on November 28, 1971 to Johnny Mack and Betty Joan Cates Hearon. She was a lifetime resident of Mexia. Stephanie attended Mexia ISD and later went to work for the City of Mexia. She worked as an EMT/Firefighter and cashier for eight years. Stephanie had an outgoing personality, loved people. She was happiest when she was helping people. Stephanie was a loving daughter who enjoyed caring for her parents. She also enjoyed working with the EMT/fire department. Stephanie is survived by her parents, Johnny and Joan Hearon of Mexia; brother, Robert Farnes and wife, Dianne of Waco; Kaylynn Lyon of Round Rock, whom she loved as a daughter, and her children, Braxton, Jordyn and Aubree.
