Teri Gail Glass

On June 28, 2026,Teri Gail Glass was released from her earthly trials and impediments when she was ushered into her eternal home. 

Teri was born October 3, 1955 in Corsicana, Texas to Thomas W. and Leta Maude (Crawley) Glass.  She went on to graduate from High School and complete two years of college.

Her working career included twenty three years at the Mexia State School and a number of years at the First United Methodist Church Pre-School, where she adored being around and helping the children.  She also found time to make extra money babysitting.

Teri was a kind and loving person, who took pride in her family and especially helping her mother in her later years.  She endured many adversities in her life with a positive attitude and was an inspiration to the people she came in contact with.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Mexia, where she found refuge for her soul.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Leta Glass; and brother-in-law, Bill Barnes.

Teri is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Brenda Glass; sister, Ellan Barnes; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Susan Moore and Gregory Glass who helped take care of her in her last years.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Reverend Doctor Robert Blackmon officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cotton Gin Cemetery.
