Thelma Hickson

Thelma Louise "Gran" Hickson, 93, formerly of Mexia, passed away December 13, 2013 in Azle, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. James Boling officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Monday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Louise was born October 20, 1920 in Ennis, Texas to Leonard M. and Ruth Trice Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claudie D. Hickson; parents, Ruth Trice Anderson and Leonard Anderson; brother, Milburn Anderson; and sisters, Violet Anderson Williams and Mary "Sissy" Hughes. Louise is survived by her children, Tommy Hearrell of Longview, Betty Huffman of Fort Worth, Sandra Garland and husband, Ken of Troy and Jimmy Hickson and wife, Mary of Seven Points; grandchildren, Dwayne Muensterman of Crowley, Dixie Walker and husband, Jamie of Longview, Michelle Henderson and husband, Todd of Fort Worth, Debbie Lamme and husband, Billy of Temple, Tonya Hickson of Mesquite, Bobby Hearrell and wife, Sherry of Diana; Julia Ernst and husband, Steven of Frisco and Brandy Vitale and husband, Jeff; great-grandchildren, Heather and Hillary Henderson, Lacy and Mark Walker, Kelly and C. D. Muensterman, Haskel Oliver, Megan Lamme, Brittany, Justin and Tristin Hicks, Sydney Hickson, Cameron and Caleb Ernst, Melissa Hearrell and Jayden, Zayda and Norah Vitale; and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Haskel Oliver, Robert Hearrell, Jamie Walker, Steven Ernst, Darrell Evans and Les Calkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Muensterman, Todd Henderson and Kenneth Garland.
