Victor Sanchez-Paz

Victor Manuel Sanchez Paz, 45, passed away on August 31, 2021 in Mexia.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the Mexia Cemetery with Father Pius Mathew officiating.

Visitation with the family will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.

Victor was born July 3, 1976 in Rancho La Banderita, San Luis de LaPaz, Guanajuato, Mexico to Efren Sanchez Arredondo and Sanjuana Paz Perez.   He worked as a pipefitter for several different pipeline companies.

Victor married Blanca Idalia Garcia on October 31, 1998 in Groesbeck, Texas.  His life revolved around his family, he dearly love each and everyone of them.  He had a big heart, was kind, and generous.  Anyone needing his help, regardless of whether they were family or not, he was always willing to do whatever he could to help them.  Victor treated people like he wanted to be treated, regardless of who they were.

Victor was a hard worker, if he wasn’t on the job, he was busy working around their home or for someone else; he did not like to be idle.  He was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia.

Victor is survived by his loving wife, Blanca of Mexia; his parents, Efren Sanchez Arredondo and Sanjuana Paz Perez; sons, Christopher and Leonardo Sanchez; brothers, Gumer, Salvador, Gilberto, Efren, and Jose Sanchez; sisters, Delores, Micgela, Margarita, Lisa, Guadalupe, Isidra, Mari, and Lorena Sanchez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
