Walter Gordon Ford, Jr. of Coolidge, Texas, passed away at the age of 74 on April 12, 2024, in Mexia, TX. He was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois on June 2, 1949 to Walter Gordon Ford, Sr. and Ann Anastasia (Romanic) Ford.
He enjoyed fishing, and barbecuing and was well known for being very helpful as well as being a people person. He was an electrician by trade.
He served our country in the Navy for four years receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Walter is survived by his wife, Brenda Kelly; sisters, Joyce Staley and Jackie Kimberlin.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents.
