Reese was born June 11, 1941 in Lubbock, Texas to Sam G. and Marjorie (Reese) Wynn. He served his country in the Texas National Guard. Reese retired, after many years of service, as a Purchasing Agent in the Oil Industry in Houston, Texas. While living in Houston, he was very active in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
In 2002, Reese and his wife, Susan, moved to Mexia to be near family. His love for God, family and friends was exemplified by the way he lived his life. He was an active member of the Tehuacana Methodist Church and served on the Tehuacana Cemetery Board for many years. Reese was very outgoing, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed playing a practical joke on friends from time to time. He was also sentimental and he loved Christmas.
Reese was a man of many interests. He enjoyed experiencing the outdoors through hunting deer/birds and running his Farm and Ranch Business. He was, also, a political activist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Marjorie Wynn; and brother, Sam G. Wynn, Jr.
Reese is survived by his wife, Susan Wynn of Mexia; son, Will Wynn of Mankato, MN; daughter, Carol Sorth of Katy; brother, John Wynn of Egypt, TX; three nephews, Grant, Sam, III, and Thomas; and three nieces, Lorri, Cathy and Martha.
