Willie Ragan

Graveside services for Mrs. Willie C. Ragan, 96, former Mexia resident will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 in Mexia Cemetery. Rev. Don Foxworth, pastor of Parkside Church will officiate with interment following in Mexia Cemetery. Mrs. Ragan was born on April 22, 1910 in Monticello, Arkansas and passed away in Liberty, Texas on May 3, 2006. She retired as ward attendant at Mexia State School and was a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death in 1998 by her husband, Jack. R. Ragan. She is survived by her daughters: Naomi Taylor and husband, James of Liberty, Nettie Turley of Channelview; son, Richard Vickers and wife, Daisy of Houston: Step children: Betty Porter of Mexia, Janie Cox and Husband, John of Hilltop Lakes, and Rose Conner of San Angelo, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren: two sisters, Ludie and Polly of Arkansas.
