Edna Mary Dunagan Dixon, 81 years of age, was born to Houston and L.V. Dunagan, on February 6, 1939 in Wortham, Texas.  She fell asleep in death, October 26, 2020.

Edna attended school in Wortham, Texas where she graduated, and was valedictorian of her high school class. Despite having polio as a child, she went on to be an outstanding basketball player. She went on to attend Nursing school at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where she was also valedictorian of her class. She spent over 30 years as a nurse and was Director of Nurses at the Manor Nursing Home.

Edna married Leo Dixon, February 20, 1970 and remained united in marriage for 50 years until her death.

Edna was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, May 1980 in Arlington, Texas.  She especially loved sharing the good news about Jehovah's kingdom in the door-to-door ministry.  She also enjoyed assisting her many bible students to learn and come to appreciate Jehovah and bible truths.

Edna absolutely loved her family and spiritual family with all her heart!  This was evident in how she encouraged them and tried helping them in so many ways throughout the years.  She also enjoyed a few good Garage Sales!

Edna was truly one of the faithful of whom Jehovah has said, "For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name."

She leaves for a time, her husband of 50 years, Leo Dixon; four children, Cassandra Smith (Ricky), James Dunagan, Christy Brown (Terrance) and Leo Dixon Jr (Vicki).
