Neoma Glenice Rudolph, of Fairfield, passed away January 3, 2021 in Waco, Texas at the age of 85.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Visitation with the family will be 1:00 p.m,, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.

Neoma was born April 22, 1935 at home in New Hope (Limestone County), Texas to Lester and Minnie Ainsworth Martin.  She married Wilbert Rudolph in 1955 and they had been happily married for 30 years at the time of his death on November 4, 1985.  She worked as a Beautician for several years, prior to going to work as a Line Supervisor for Armour Star Packing Company and completed her working career as a secretary for Robert Wright Flooring Service.

Neoma moved to Fairfield, approximately 15 years ago, after living in Porter, Texas for many years.  She loved to quilt and made many beautiful quilts during her life.  She thoroughly enjoyed attending quilt shows and retreats.  Neoma was a big fan of the Dallas Mavericks and a longtime active member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in New Caney, Texas.  After moving to Fairfield, she has enjoyed spending more time with her sisters and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Minnie Martin; a young son, Jeffery Lynn Ellerbe in 1987; four nephews, Bill Sandifer, Clint May, Christopher Trainer, and Kenny Robinson.

Neoma is survived by her two sisters, Jean Robinson of Fairfield, and Linda Martin of Teague; two nieces, Robyn Smith of Teague and Brandy Herring of Mexia; three great nephews, Clint Brown of Mexia, Zane Smith of Stephenville and Christopher Trainer of Mart.
